Inis Tuaisceart is the northernmost of the Blasket Islands in County Kerry. It is also called both An Fear Marbh in Irish (“The Dead Man”) and The Sleeping Giant, as it resembles a person lying on their back, in the sea.
I chose to represent it with a rather ominous-looking cumulonimbus cloud hanging overhead, which some people have suggested might in fact be a representation of Hy Brasil. Who knows?
